1) What differentiates you from the other candidates?
My experience bridges the classroom and boardroom, with 18 years teaching at the college level. This role allowed me to understand the challenges teachers face and the needs of students from various school systems. As a business executive, I’ve interviewed graduates, gaining insights into public schools’ career preparedness while managing multimillion-dollar budgets and strategic planning. My ability to listen, understand and make informed decisions has prepared me to address the challenges our School Board will face in the coming years.
Paul Carbone receives Scott County Senate District 56 Republican Party (GOP) recommendation for Lakeville Area Schools ISD 194 School Board.
"After graduation, we're hopefully passing prepared people into the business community. As a board, we need to understand what the business market is that we're passing those folks into and how they need to be prepared. The school board must integrate itself into the business community." - Paul Carbone
I'm running for school board to promote academic responsibility, budget accountability, and career readiness. Our classrooms are filled with future leaders, and we must help every student reach their potential. I’m committed to ensuring every tax dollar is used transparently and effectively. I'll also work to equip students with essential skills for the modern workforce, connecting them with industry professionals to enhance their career prospects.
